By far the most interesting aspect of my work as an editor in the dental industry is the chance to interact with key opinion leaders (KOLs) shaping the profession. For the May/June issue of Inside Dentistry, I interviewed with three accomplished voices in periodontics and patient care: Mia L. Geisinger, Katrina M. Sanders, and Michael Sonick.
These experts discussed the importance of prevention, individualized care, collaboration, and the relationships that make effective patient care possible. We also explored topics ranging from oral-systemic health and advances in diagnostics to the evolving role of hygiene teams and the importance of communication and human connection in clinical practice.

My interviews are published in the May/June issue Inside Dentistry, available here.
For the April 2026 issue of Inside Dentistry, the annual Implants issue, I conducted a series of interviews with key opinion leaders in dental implants. For the cover story spread, which introduces the interview package, click here.

I wrote the cover story for the January/February 2026 issue of Inside Dentistry. The article explains how new diagnostic tools are poised to change the future of dental care — from the technology itself to the clinical decisions it will influence. Reporting it involved interviewing six experts who are actively shaping where dental technology is headed. If you’re curious how technology is transforming dental care, you can read the full article here.

With this issue of Inside Dentistry, I’ve also stepped into a new role as Managing Editor. It’s a career milestone I’m proud of, and I’m looking forward to writing and editing many more articles.
The November/December 2025 issue of Inside Dental Hygiene features my latest article, a cover story highlighting the perspectives of seven outstanding dental hygienists. In the article, these experienced professionals share their insights on the current trends, developments, and changes shaping the dental hygiene profession. I enjoyed the opportunity to bring together such a diverse group of voices and explore what they’re seeing in the field today.
